Community Standards

Kingdom Formation is centered on Christ being formed in people and expressed through the lives they actually live. These standards protect the dignity, safety, trust, and purpose of the community.

These standards apply to website participation and, where available, the private adult member app, Formation Circles, discussions, comments, shared prayer, support, and gatherings. Current participation is for people age 18 and older. Planned features are covered when they open.

Kingdom Formation is a Christian formation community, not a church. We encourage responsible participation in local church life and appropriate pastoral care. Members may ask sincere questions, acknowledge struggles, and disagree respectfully without being shamed.

Honor people

Speak truthfully and respectfully. Harassment, threats, hate, discrimination, humiliation, sexual misconduct, stalking, exploitation, manipulation, and retaliation are not permitted.

Honor boundaries

Do not pressure another participant for money, private access, romance, spiritual submission, business, personal information, or professional opportunity. Kingdom Formation is not a dating service. Leaders, mentors, instructors, and participants must respect stated personal and professional boundaries.

Formation Circle and Guide responsibilities

Keep Circle conversations connected to the agreed formation focus. Receive guidance thoughtfully and allow others room to speak or remain quiet. Assignments are invitations to practice and reflect, not a way to rank people spiritually. Do not demand intimate disclosures, insist that a member share a private journal, or treat silence as proof of spiritual failure.

Guides may welcome, teach within their scope, facilitate discussion, pray, and respond to intentionally shared support needs. They must not use their role to control relationships, finances, health decisions, employment, or personal choices. A Guide does not replace a pastor, therapist, or the Holy Spirit. No participant may use spiritual language to justify coercion, sexual solicitation, exploitation, or unwanted contact.

Protect personal stories

Do not record, screenshot, repost, publish, or repeat another person’s private story without permission. Do not submit confidential records or information that belongs to someone else. Confidentiality cannot be promised where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to address a serious safety concern.

Private journals and prayer journals are not Circle discussion records. Share only what the member has intentionally made available to the relevant audience. Do not publish identifying details about another person, including their address, contact details, location, or sensitive circumstances, without permission. A testimony shared inside a Circle is not permission to use it in public promotion.

Prayer and support with care

Pray respectfully without diagnosing, promising an outcome, pressuring someone to stop treatment, or making help conditional on private access or payment. Do not repeat a private prayer request outside its intended audience. Members may ask for support without joining a particular journey. Respect a person’s decision to decline advice or seek qualified help elsewhere.

No unauthorized promotion or fundraising

Do not use the community to recruit clients, sell services, distribute spam, promote unrelated events, collect money, or request private financial support unless Kingdom Formation has given written permission.

Use the platform honestly

Do not impersonate another person, share account access, submit false information, interfere with security, misuse community content, or use the platform for unlawful activity.

Report a concern

Send conduct or safety concerns to contact@thekingdomformation.com with the subject “Community Concern.” Include enough information for a fair review. Do not send emergency requests by email.

Use report or block controls where available. If a control is unavailable or does not resolve a concern, contact us by email. Do not evade a block through another account or ask others to contact someone on your behalf after contact has been declined. Reporting does not guarantee an immediate response. Share only relevant evidence and do not investigate another member by entering their account.

How concerns are handled

Kingdom Formation may review available information, preserve necessary records, limit contact, remove content, pause participation, or end access. Serious threats, suspected abuse, fraud, or unlawful activity may be referred to appropriate authorities. Decisions will consider safety, fairness, the available facts, and the purpose of the community. Where appropriate, a response may include guidance, a warning, contact restrictions, suspension, restoration with boundaries, or removal. Ordinary struggles, respectful disagreement, and requesting help are not themselves misconduct. Where safe and lawful, we will give an explanation and an opportunity to respond. You may request review by emailing contact@thekingdomformation.com with “Membership Review” as the subject. Retaliation against someone who raises a good faith concern is prohibited.
